
Sri Ganga Sewa Samiti launched the Har Ghar food project after the lockdown was announced to provide food support to the most vulnerable families in Almora and Bageshwar districts of Uttarakhand. In the present circumstances, the lowest strata of the society, including daily wage workers, construction workers, contract laborers, street vendors and patients suffering from serious health ailments (TB and HIV AIDS) have been affected the most. These groups have lost their only shell of income and have no means of providing food or sustenance for their families Sri Ganga Sewa Samiti has started its relief service by providing dry ration sup port to the most affected people following the covid guide line and all safety and proper social distancing guidelines. Till now Shri Ganga Seva Samiti has distributed grocery ration to 220 families.

During the Corona period, many people found by the organization were hospitalized for treatment due to corona and died due to lack of oxygen due to lack of oxygen concentrator. No one should die due to lack of oxygen. For this purpose, an oxygen concentrator was also made available to the hospital as a donation by the organization. Due to which the lives of many patients could be saved.
